In the most provinces in Visayas and Mindanao has the least prices of foods compared to the capital city of the Philippine which is Manila. Considering the transportation is the main reason why the foods in Manila is higher than the other 2 major islands. In terms of food, there are many Filipino cuisines that you will definitely love the taste with the cheapest price. You can choose which food you would prefer to buy. There is also food package in order to have discount. It’s better to buy all- in- one food than to buy food separately. You can dine or take it out.

Accommodation

There are many available hotels with the cheapest price to pay. Dormitory has the cheapest accommodation to pay between $3 to $5 per day. Next is private accommodation ranges from $5 to $10 per day. Most of the hotels have offered the complete package of food and accommodation depending on how many days you will stay in the hotel. You can check it out online and compare the rates.

Transportation

The Philippines has many separated islands, you can travel by a jeepney, boat, ferry, and bus. The jeepney’s regular fare within the city is 8 pesos which equivalent to $0.158174. You can surely stretch your budget if your travel is in a hurry. You can have a bus or a rent-a-van for quick travel.

Things to Pack When Traveling The Philippines

Summertime is fast approaching and the Philippines is a tropical country, therefore; it is expected to have a very hot climate. Swimming is the right choice. Don’t forget to bring sunblock protection, sunglasses and rush guard to protect you skin from the heat of the sun. If you are heading Northern part of the Philippines to the Banaue Rice Terraces, the weather is cool, you must bring waterproof jacket to prevent coldness.
